All shot in-camera these stop motion content pieces for IKEA were a delight to create. The concept was to create some personality in the furiture pieces and to bring them to life with stop motion animation. We made a special articulated ‘tongue rig’ for the MALM draws so that we could animate the tongue jeans slurping up all the mess on the floor.

The ‘mess monster’ for PLATSA was made up from clothes, books, belts and other accessories that you might find in a person’s bedroom. This was all hung on a specfiically desinged rig that could be raised and lowered for animation. Each indivdual piece was then animated frame by frame being tidied into the under-bed-storage.
